Is hadse mein 241 yatri aur crew sadasya mare gaye, aur zameen par 39 logon ki maut hui. Is durghatna ne na keval Air India ke suraksha maapadando par sawal uthaye, balki Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ko bhi sakht karwai ke liye majboor kiya. DGCA ne Air India ke teen senior adhikariyo – Choorah Singh (Divisional Vice President), Pinky Mittal (Chief Manager, Crew Scheduling), aur Payal Arora (Crew Scheduling – Planning) – ko crew rostering aur scheduling se sambandhit sabhi jimmedariyo se turant hatane ka aadesh diya.
Karan:  
In adhikariyo par anadhikrit crew pairing, pilot licensing ke niyamo ka ulanghan, aur rest hours ke maapadando ki avhelna ka aarop hai. Ye ulanghan Air India ke naye crew management software (ARMS se CAE Crew Management System) ke transition ke dauraan February 2025 ke internal audit mein saamne aaye.
Aadesh:  
Inhe turant non-operational roles mein sthanantarit kiya gaya hai.  
Air India ko 10 dino ke andar inke khilaf anushasanatmak karwai shuru karke DGCA ko report dena hai.  
Jab tak scheduling practices mein sudhaar nahi hota, ye adhikari flight suraksha ya niyamit anupalan se sambandhit koi bhi pad nahi le sakte.

2.Show-Cause Notice
Ghatna:  
DGCA ne Air India ke Accountable Manager ko 16 aur 17 May 2025 ko Bengaluru se London jaane wali do flights (AI-133) ke liye show-cause notice jaari kiya. In flights mein **Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL)** niyamo ka ulanghan hua, kyunki ye dono flights 10 ghante ki sima se adhik samay tak chali.
Niyam:  
Civil Aviation Requirements (CAR) ke tahat, pilot aur crew ke kaam ke ghante strictly nirdharit hote hain taaki thakan ke karan suraksha khatre mein na pade.
DGCA ka Rukh:  
Air India ko 7 dino ke andar is notice ka jawab dena hai. Jawab na dene ya asantushtijanak jawab par sakht karwai ho sakti hai, jisme jarimana, license nilsan, ya operational anumati radd karna shamil hai.

3.Boeing 787 Dreamliner Fleet ke Liye Suraksha Inspection
Karan:  
Ahmedabad durghatna mein shamil aircraft ek Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner tha, jo General Electric GEnx engines se powered tha. Is durghatna ke baad DGCA ne Air India ke poore Boeing 787 fleet par sakht nazar rakhi.
Aadesh:  
  - 15 June 2025 se shuru hone wali enhanced suraksha inspection ka aadesh diya gaya.  
  - Har flight ke departure se pehle one-time check aur pichle 15 dino ke repetitive snags ka review karna zaroori.  
  - Air India ko in jaancho ki report DGCA ko submit karni hai.
Prabhav:  
Ye kadam preventive measure hai taaki bhavishya mein koi bhi technical kharabi se bacha ja sake. Isse Air India ke maintenance practices par bhi prashn chhakke bandhe.

4.Pichli Karwaiya
DGCA ne Air India ke khilaf pichle kuch saalo mein bhi sakht karwai ki hai:
January 2024: Suraksha ulanghan aur leased aircraft ke operations mein lapses ke liye **₹1.10 crore** ka jarimana.
August 2024: Mumbai-Riyadh flight par unqualified crew ke saath flight operate karne ke liye **₹90 lakh** ka jarimana.
November 2023: Passenger-centric niyamo ke ulanghan ke liye show-cause notice jaari kiya.

Ahmedabad Durghatna: Ek Tragic Hadsa

12 June 2025 ko Ahmedabad mein Air India ka flight AI-171, jo London ke liye udaan bhar raha tha, takeoff ke kuch hi seconds baad durghatnagrast ho gaya.  
Vivaran:  
  Aircraft mein 242 log sawaar the (230 yatri, 2 pilot, 10 cabin crew). Zameen par 39 logon ki bhi maut hui.  
  - Pilot ne takeoff ke turant baad **Mayday** call di, lekin uske baad ATC ke calls ka jawab nahi diya.  
  - Preliminary investigation mein koi thos karan saamne nahi aaya, lekin bhari fuel load ke karan crash ke baad aag ki shiddat badh gayi.  

Jaanch:  
 Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) is ghatna ki jaanch kar raha hai.  
 DGCA ne Air India ke pilot training records, medical certificates, aur pichle audits ki jaankari maangi.  
  Is durghatna ne Air India ke suraksha protocols, maintenance practices, aur crew management par gambheer sawal uthaye hain.

Air India ka Jawab

Air India ne DGCA ke aadesho ko sweekaar kiya aur kaha ki:  
- Unhone turant hi teeno adhikariyo ko scheduling se hata diya aur Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC) ki nigraani ab **Chief Operations Officer (Basil Kwauk)** kar rahe hain.  
- Airline ne apni **suraksha aur standard operating procedures (SOPs)** ke prati pratibaddhata vyakt ki.  
- Naye Crew Management System ke transition mein kami ko sudharne ke liye internal audits aur training programs shuru kiye gaye hain.
Lekin, DGCA ka manna hai ki Air India ke internal accountability systems mein systemic nakami hai, aur isliye regulator ne airline ko chetavni di hai ki bhavishya mein koi bhi ulanghan bardasht nahi kiya jayega.
